Write a poem in the style of Dr. Seuss. / Oh, the thinks you can think! The children’s author Dr. Seuss has an iconic style featured in most of his books - whimsical, rhythmic, and childishly repetitive. To become a great writer, imitating others’ techniques is sometimes the first step. You can write about whatever you like; personally, I adore the idea of exploring a very dark, morbid story in Dr. Seuss’ bouncy style, perhaps accompanied by his trademark colorful cartoon art. But no pressure, of course. Do some experimenting, and oh, the places you’ll go!
