Write the news you wish was real.

Today is the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in our country’s history, an annual reminder of how horrible and chaotic the world can get. The media is extremely important to keep us informed, but the constant flood of bad news, controversy, and fighting from TV and the Internet can really start to prey on you. Fittingly enough, 9/11 is also No News Is Good News Day, when we can finally take a day off from the 24-hour news cycle just for our own mental health. To bide the time, equip your best journalism skills and write the news article you want to read one day, telling you that once and for all, everything’s going to be okay.

Here’s a directory of organizations that help victims of terrorism worldwide. Please donate! http://www.un.org/victimsofterrorism/en/directory
